My friend Adam Robinson has interviewed me. It starts off with questions about Zizek and Theology, then gets more general.

So why were people pissed that you compared Zizek’s theology to Altizer? When I read your book after reading Radical Theology and the Death of God it seemed only natural to me. Was it only because Altizer has been somewhat of an outcast in theological circles since the early 70’s? Reading his biography reminded me of Derrida’s comment about how everyone talks about him as if he was no longer alive. It seems the same thing with Altizer, as if he had only one idea and once he was done sharing he just vanishes from the theological landscape

I think it’s just because they think Altizer is shit and Zizek is good.

UK Office or American Office?

I’m going to compare and contrast the two.

Maybe some footnote mention of The Tim and Eric in a book on awkwardness?

Are they awkward or just grotesque?

One observation you can have for free (limited to first couple of series perhaps): US Office = far more awkwardness about race.

Anthony, maybe that’s worthy of a footnote.
