Yeah, I was thinking about including him, but decided not to because it was too obvious. It also occurs to me that I could’ve included the Republicans, but that would’ve been a boring option I think.

forgot all about ppip. good reasons. my thought was that rahm had more of an influence in setting fiscal policy parameters in the early days. but maybe that’s not true

It’s easy to forget about PPIP, since it was barely even implemented. I feel like they only announced it in an attempt to goose financial markets for a few days.

The real person to blame here is whoever gave Obama a copy of that fucking Animal Spirits book.
