The more reviews we have, the higher we will turn up in search results, and the more likely people are to actually purchase the book when they are browsing.

    All in favour, though perhaps we could encourage each review to end with ‘and make sure you buy this through an outlet which doesn’t avoid paying taxes or crap on its workers as much as Amazon does.’

    I actually just read ‘Awkwardness’ not too long ago, and quote it in my forthcoming book… we should be reminded that no one gets rich on these books around here but the sales mean more books, more opportunities, etc.
